or if your too busy some mesurements if you still have them would be awesome!
Hey, glad to hear you like it! It was one of the first things I made.
Unfortunately, I have no time to do a DIY, but I’ll give you the measurements so that you could make one yourself.
For the neckpad, I used two layers of layer, both 12 inch long and 1.5 inch wide. You can use just one. Having to put through the strap through the neckpad was hard work, and made it a bit stiff.
The strap itself was 26 inches long, 3/4 inches wide. I tapered the edge to be around 3/7 inches, starting about about one inch from the edge.
To create the loops, you’ll need two strands of leather. This piece is a bit tricky. I didn’t write the measurements, but you should definitely figure out how low you’d want the camera to be while on your neck, and measure accordingly. Since it’s going to be riveted to the strap, I believe I used a width of 3/7 inches and a length of 14 inches, matching with the tapered edge of the end of the strap.
I punched two holes at the edge of the loop and the strap, and make sure the holes are relatively the same distance apart because they’ll be riveted together. At the end of the loops, create holes as you would a belt, and also a slit for the buckle. I did the holes about 7/8 inches apart.
That’s all the measurements I could give. Best of luck to you!
